? Lymph nodes baby head

My little boy (6months old now) was very poorly with RSV in November (4months ago) and I noticed he had a raised lymph node behind his ear which the doctor confirmed and said it may never go down or could just take time. It’s smaller than the size of a pea. I’ve noticed about a month ago he has 3 others (same size) he was ill again in December. Do I need to push to get these checked at the hospital? They have said unless weight loss, sweats or fatigue the GP are not concerned. To come back if they change. He constantly seems to be teething at the moment too on and off. Thankyou :) anxious mum here 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi, my baby boy has had the swollen lymph node behind his ear going on 3 months took him to GP about 3 times… they said they not concerned as well.. he’s fine in him self - so I’m just keeping an eye. Xx

My son (4 months) also has them. I was just feeling them before I put him to bed! My doctor said that it’s normal for babies of that age to have pea sized lymph nodes that are movable when gently touched. If you are still anxious, there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion to ease your nerves. But it seems like this may be normal. ❤️ hopefully it’s reassuring to see a couple other moms with a similar experience

My son also has 2 lymph nodes on the sides of his neck. One a bit more obvious that the other. They appeared after he came down with a chest infection about a year ago and just didn't go away. We had a blood test done which apparently come out fine but the GP did say it might just be that his immune system isn't as strong and needs longer to deal with it.

My little one had them from the beginning. She's 8 months now and they seem to have gone down. She wasn't sick or anything, the Dr's thought it might be with cradle cap
