My son is 9w old and we have a schedule we try to stick to. It doesn't always happen but he's up between 5-545a, he takes his reflux medicine and gets a diaper. We cuddle for a few minutes because we have to wait a bit for the beds before we can eat. About 615-630 we have a bottle and get dressed. We've had to take My husband to work lately because his car needs some work and he won't leave me with an infant without a car, so we leave by 730 to do that. We're home by 830. We get a diaper change and bottle and play for a bit before our 10a nap. On a good day we nap until 1130-12p while I straighten up around the house. He wakes up, diaper and bottle. Tummy time and sometimes he may take another nap around 230. if there are errands we have we do that before getting my husband at 5. 545p meds, 630 bottle/diaper bath, storytime and around 9pa bed time. Sometimes he wakes up around 130a for a small bottle and diaper.
I’ve been following moms on call. Obviously tailor it to your/ her needs as we do. Not all babies are the same
The first night is super hard also, my son probably isn’t going to bed until 830 9 o’clock. 730 seems to be too early for him right now.
@Lauren what book is this?
Moms on call 0-6 months
They post a lot of things on Instagram as well
Thank you! I’m going to get this!!!
It has really helped us! They also have sleep training tips. Life changing! The first night was hard but has been so worth it. People have different opinions but it has worked great
@Lauren thank you for this! I think we might try it out
You should!
That is the sleep training guide for up to three months. I will also give you the 3 to 6 month.
I agree with @Lauren with the moms on call schedule! We’re still on the 4-8week schedule with my 10 week old just bc she’s not ready to extend bedtime right now But she’s sleeping from 9p-6a!
@Lauren thank you! I didn’t know you could even start sleep training before 4 months so this is very helpful! My husband and I are dying for some better sleep lol
It works differently for everyone and there are soooo many opinions on it but it has worked great for us! My son is thriving on a schedule. Hoping the same for you 🫶🏼

@Lauren hey, I used this schedule for a few days and it’s amazing. If I follow the daytime routine well then it guarantees me a 5 hour stretch in the night. But, for the daytime naps I have to hold my baby. I’m wondering how to get him to nap independently for the mentioned duration.
It was tough for me at first, but once he got used to being in his crib in his room, it’s not so hard. I feel like it’s easier to lay them down when they’re half asleep but again everyone’s different and this is just my personal experience.
I know they say not to rock, but I’ve rocked to get him tired. I’ve done whatever I needed to do just to kind of get him moving onto the schedule once in the schedule it gets so much easier to lay them asleep awake
Swaddle helped me a lot too!
My girl is 10 weeks old and so far we don’t have a good routine but definitely starting to! In the AM she wakes up around 6:30-7 and I’ll change her bottom change into her outfit of the day feed her and she will typically go back to sleep. While she sleeps I try to hurry make Ice coffee and get dressed myself for the day! If she is still sleeping soundly I will try to get one task done rather it’s putting dishes away from the night before or picking up an area! She typically will get pjs on and wipe down/lotion no later than 8pm and asleep by 9. And occasionally I’ll stay up after I put her down for the night to pick up that way I feel like I can take the day slower with her! During the night we wake up every 4 hours to feed. What I’ve been doing hasn’t been leaving much time for my boyfriend and I but it’s a learning process!
