Newborn insert

How to know when to remove newborn insert on car seat? Google says 5-6 months but my LO’s feet are pressed against the back of the seat already at just under 3 months. I want her to be safe though.

It should be in the car seat manual if you have it. Ours says at 60cm height, which she almost is at almost 3 months

My car seat manual says 60cm, my partners says once they’re 11lbs. Think it depends on the brand of seat x

My cybex says above 60cm, which in a few weeks, think my 8 week old will be x

My cossato one says when she is 72cm long it can be removed. D

Ours is max 60cm which somehow he already is at 8 weeks so it’s come out!

Look at the manual for your model - our Cybex is 60cm and I took it out at 9 weeks. It actually says it on the car seat itself, so maybe yours does to?

Out maxi cosi says up to 85cm so we have a bit more to get there.

The car seat will say a certain length on it, but some babies have their height in their legs and not torso. I had a Cybex with my first and second, and my daughter had it in way past 60cm because she's all legs, and I couldn't get a good fit without it. I agree with the above comment - join a group for a fit check x

The manual should have the weight on, ours was 11lbs so we have now removed at 8 weeks x
