Toddler Backpack Rein

My little one has been walking since she was 10 months old, she is a very confident walker and runner. So confident that she just doesn’t want to stay sat in the pram when we’re in busy public places. I really don’t want to stop her from being free however she doesn’t want to hold mine or her dads hands when we walking. I have considered the idea of using a backpack rein as my mum used it for my youngest sibling however I’m scared of the stares and looks. Shall I still try it out and see how it works for us?

You can also get a strap for their wrist. I haven't used one but I found the backpack put them off balance if they ran ahead/got pulled back as the strap sits at the bottom of the bag

I haven't used one but we live out in the country. I'd definitely have used one in the city. The resistance to hand holding was just a phase, I'd say if you do use a strap keep pushing for hand holding too and eventually she'll get it. She can be free in safe spaces. Forget the stares, it's much more important to keep your kids safe! My daughter has mostly been great near roads and I always had the rein just never felt the need to use it. Literally last week though she randomly decided to run to the road completely out of the blue! Thankfully my instincts kicked in and I leapt after her and caught her!

1pc Anti-Lost Tether Baby Wrist Link Chain Retractable Anti-Lost Rope Leash Bracelet With Key Lock, Upgraded Version I discovered amazing products on SHEIN.com, come check them out! http://api-shein.shein.com/h5/sharejump/appjump?link=lNbTLXTL1RL_8&localcountry=US&url_from=GM743274300

I have the leash bracelet in pink and I absolutely love it. Although my daughter isn’t here yet I still got one. And I’m not ashamed because I’ve had to chase after people kids friends and strangers because they had runners and I’m glad I was able to help but all it takes it one second for a kid to take off and they are either ☠️, badly injured, kidnapped, lost or in super big trouble when mom or dad catches them. I’d rather be safe than sorry. And there are plenty of parents out there who agree with this leash method we silent appraise and clap for others because we understand with no judgement. And who cares with what other people think. If that’s the case you should have never got pregnant because the judgement started there seriously. You taking the necessary precautions to protect your baby AINT NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! I’ve seen those cute back backs the Chinese people have with all types of different designs. You’ll probably find a more affordable one on SHEIN
