@Léah means ur placenta is at the front of your womb, meaning you are likely to not feel your baby until further in your pregnancy since baby isn’t just kicking you but also the placenta. Had it with my first and didn’t feel kick until 21 weeks Don’t have it with my second and I’m 17 weeks and started feeling kicks / movement, so for me it made a big difference. As long as is not low lying / covering ur cervix (scan would tell you by 20weeks) it’s no issue, just got to wait longer to feel baby that’s all
@ og poster, how far along are you? Sometimes the placenta can move? I was told at my 12week scan mine was anterior but had a scan last week (16 weeks) and it’s now at the back, apparently they can’t confirm what it is until the 20 week scan
Hey 👋🏻 I don’t have it this time, but with my son, I did have an anterior placenta. I still felt quite a lot of of the kicks but they felt more ‘internal’ the only thing that was a little shame that my husband couldn’t feel them as much in the early days
@Lissa 17 weeks xx
Did u have a scan recently that confirmed its anterior? Or is that from your 12week? x
Anterior placenta at 13 weeks started feeling the baby (baby number 2). I’m confident is the baby as I know what signs to look out for. I’m 14 weeks and don’t feel her every single day but I do most days :) like other people say, they feel more internal, but at this stage is always more internal as a feeling! If it helps, I feel the baby when I lie down, and fully relax and take deep breaths, but they’re quite subtle and takes being fully focused on it 🥰
I had this with my first, I felt kicks around 20/21 weeks x
🙋🏽♀️but lowkey dunno what that means doctor just said it and said its fine
