Carry cot to rear facing seat

My son is 3+ months at what age can we move him into the rear facing seat for his pushchair as he loves looking around and doesn’t like lying down when out and about? I’ve got the ickle bubba travel system! Thankyou xx

He should probably stay parent facing for now but you could move into the seat if it lays back, so you can pop him down if he’s sleeping so there’s less pressure on his spine x

@Jess this is what I was thinking it will be facing me anyway but he’s so nosey haha he loves looking around, Thankyou lovely xx

I did it quite early with my first as he hated the bassinet. He was 4 months old but yes, we kept it reclined. We also had an ickle bubba travel system.

It depends on neck and trunk control and if it can fully recline if he falls asleep. If not then you shouldn’t

He’ll probably be too small for the straps at this age, we first tried my boy in his at 4 months and he would’ve slipped straight out of those straps. Also make sure it reclines flat x

It's normal 6months old but I did it around 4months old as he hated being layed flat

I think we moved ours at around 5 months and he was fine xx
