You certainly can but the flow isn’t the same, tommee tippee are really fast! We had to switch back to mam bottles 🤦🏼♀️
Oh no really? Even though they’re both size 1 teats x
@Jodie do you not?? I’ve been putting everything in the steriliser in separate parts
You have to take all of the bottle apart to sterilise as milk can get under the white bit on top of the base 🙂
@Lauren exactly this. I stilltake everything off and my son is 10 months tomorrow
@Jen my son is 10 months and I still sterilise after each use
@Jen you need to sterilise the bottles for as long as they are on formula due to the bacteria in the formula
@Jen nhs guidelines definitely don’t say this. If that’s what you choose to do then that’s fine but you shouldn’t pass on incorrect information as if it’s fact 😞
You can wash it and sterilise it all together. Put the teat inside and the lid on top and follow the instructions given
@Lauryn sorry guys, removed my comment I was given this information early on and have done this pretty much since birth, but I used breastmilk so it may be different I was told guidelines are just guidelines and not "must do" for "just incase" and never had any issues on my part, I wasnt suggesting to do the same as me, just sharing what I do that has been no problem, as an option. I will have to ask about this again if I have been advised incorrectly as I wasn't even aware myself
@Jen breast milk is slightly different I think and isn’t as much of a risk as a formula so that’s probably why ❤️
@Lauryn I didn't even know that, I transitioned on to formula and carried on the same 🙈
That’s about the time I changed bottles for my little guy. We went from mam to dr. Browns
If your baby doesn’t take to tommee tippee, I found ‘Mam Active’ bottles on Amazon, use the same teats & less to sterilise! Xx

I had to get the extra extra slow tommie nipple for their bottles the slow drip would drown my son
The mam active aren’t anti colic are they?
@Riley Thankyou I’ll look at these x
Thanks everyone
@Kas no they aren’t, I personally don’t have a colicky baby, so I’ve found they are absolutely fine for my LO x
You can if they take to them. I hear a lot of babies don’t like tommee tippee. Mine likes them though so not sure why! I also use the Phillips Avent bottles which are good, you can get them with a green insert bit that helps with colic/etc- like the Mam bottles with all those parts! I agree it is annoying lol 😂
Took me 3 different brands to find one my boy liked, my eldest used Tommee tippee so bought the same for my second, he hated them. Tried nuk and only lasted a few days and ended up with MAM, they’re a ballache but I just bought 6 so I only sterilise once a day x
I don’t get how babies can’t like a bottle?😂 do they just not drink the milk from it?
@Kas usually they don’t find the teat comfortable to drink from so it can be difficult to get them to accept it, or the flow just doesn’t work for them and they struggle to drink properly etc
@Jodie oh thank you.‘I didn’t even realise x
Should be absolutely fine as long as little one takes to them, mine went off Tommie tippie and ended up changing to mam bottles😂
