@Tatianna his mom talked to the principal and they brushed her off and said it was his fault for having an accident
@Tatianna we noticed he started having poop stains in his underwear around the start of school year.
I’d definitely get ahold of the school board because it’s not his fault if the teacher won’t allow him to go the bathroom, at the age of 7, well any age really but especially at 7 and younger you can’t be expected to hold your urine
Yeah this is a big thing in schools they consider bathroom time play time and that you should be expected to hold it , in middle school I would get constant utis because I got told no, or I got timed or even they started making us get only 2 bathroom passes a semester and if we asked more than 2 times in one class and used are passes that was it. Its very sad my mom would argue with the school constantly bringing notes from my doctor that I kept getting utis . Even in highschool same rules applied I just was told by my mom to get up and walk out and take the referral. Its really sad they do that I would bring it up to the school board. I even got my period one time and my teacher who was a women told me “you can wait till class ends”
Girl I would yell at that teacher
I told my son that if he asks for the bathroom and they don’t let him, he has my permission to go. You ain’t about to give me son a UTI or an accident by not letting him go. Definitely would be writing an email to school board with principal and teacher copied having the principal confirm their words of blaming the child.
That's unacceptable. Tell him to raise his hand and say I'm going to the bathroom. You can call my mom if you need to. Have a doctor write a note. I had a uti once that led to a kidney infection and was hospitalized for 5 days.
If he wasn’t having accidents before and is having accidents now I’d take him to his pediatric doctor for a checkup, not saying that anything is happening to your baby but just to be sure, then I’d request a meeting with the principal and his teacher and let it be known that if this is not addressed and fixed you’ll go over their heads and go to the school board. Don’t back down, you are your baby’s best advocate
