no no birth plan, just had a midwife appointment at 35 weeks, even with my first there was never a “birth plan” as such made up, i just said my wants and that was that xx

I plan to this time around. I’m going to stick one in my notes and give one to my partner so he can advocate for me if I’m unable. I felt pushed into things last time and didn’t really express my wants. It’ll be more of a preference sheet than plan though as not everything goes to plan and if the worst happens I want to highlight things I’d want out of that too :-)

Okay thankyou, I was just abit concerned as my midwife in my first pregnancy was so good she even gave me a collustrum collecting package at that appointment but this time it was really brief and neither birth plan or the collustrum was discussed x

I didn't with first and unlikely to with second but me and partner are clear on what we are happy with. We can input notes on an app but to be honest I'm fairly flexible so didn't overly see the point of discussing the options this time round.

I had all this at 34 weeks, discussed birth questions on the badger app and given syringes for colostrum. Definitely ask x

When I asked my midwife about a birth plan she said there’s “no point” and shrugged it off. Said I could do one if I wanted but we didn’t need to discuss it…she seems pretty useless if I’m honest 😭 I have just filled one in myself on the badger notes app and done some research into my preferences so I know what I’d prefer!

I’ve got my 36th week midwife app next week and they said it would be about birth plan but I’ve already done mine via my chart so don’t really know what to do for next week

@Georgia they will just confirm and discuss x
