Same situation, my girl screams like she’s being tortured everytime😂
We've tried before feeds and after feeds and mid due a feed to see if he's hangry but it's still the same 😂you'd think they were in an ice bath 🤣
If you have a large muslin cover baby in that to keep them warm
Could the bath be slightly cold?
My 6 week old is the same, yet his very first bath he was so relaxed now you would think we were hurting him
Try bathing your baby with a towel on - we bathed our girl completely naked for the first time and she hated it, but midwife advised to cover her and it worked like a dream. Just take bits out to dab with a sponge and our girl loves to have water pour over her through a little baby watering can. Good luck!
I've got some little fleece reusable wipes, I use 5, 1 under her but, one under her back, then put one on her stomach and one over her legs, then one to wash. I keep putting more water over the top ones so it keeps her warm and she loves it. Only think she does scream at me for is washing her hair or touching her face so I do that at the end 😅
My 5 week old was like this and i found out it was his bath and the only way he loves a bath time now is in my kitchen sink🤦🏽♀️😂x(obviously gets properly cleaned before and after) x
My little girl is the same! She hates bath time and cries! We are trying new techniques every day but I heard is quite common and it will get better!!
Yes. Try keep one hand on them. This worked for our little guy. He screamed coz he didnt feel safe/snug in the bath chair. If my hubby keeps one hand on him he settles
My 4 week old is the same! My 6 year old was the same when he was a baby and the only way he enjoyed bathtime was being in the bath with someone so he could still cuddle
