Advice please 😊

Feeling really frustrated and like I have hit a dead end! I am currently 21 years old and have recently been diagnosed with PCOS. All blood work has been completed And an internal ultrasound (shows one ovary at 19ml and fluid in pelvis) Me and my partner have been TTC for coming up to two years now we fell pregnant in late August/ early September but sadly ended in a missed misscarige at the start of November. I have been trying to track my ovulation for near 1.5 years now but still am struggling to fall pregnant. I contacted my local GP to talk through options but the said in my county I wouldn’t be able to access fertility help though the NHS until I am 23. ( for a bit of context my partner has a daughter from a previous relationship who is nearly 3 and lives with us full time, hence why we feel that despite my age it is the perfect time for us to have a baby) I feel really diheartened that solely based of my age it means I am unable to access the health care I and my GP feel is required to look into my fertility and aid in getting pregnant. Does anyone know what other affordable options there are or and way I could get around this. Thank you

Hi! So I’m not sure about where you live but I also have PCOS and have struggled with fertility my whole adult life with little to know help from my dr’s. What I do know is monitoring your blood sugar levels and eating a higher protein diet helps the symptoms and you can get supplements for that. I got mine on Amazon. (Myo-insotol) there are also tea you can drink to help manage the symptoms (raspberry leaf tea, spearmint tea and such). Do some research for yourself see what works for you. PCOS doesn’t mean it will never happen. It just might take longer. Wishing you all the luck!!
