Consultant appointment - update🤰🏻

So yesterday I had an appointment with my consultant due to the amount of episodes of reduced movements I’ve had. While there my blood pressure was a bit on the high side, urine was clear and carbon monoxide was on 0. I overall found the appointment pointless, he just said to me he can’t understand why I’m having reduced movements, to keep getting checked out when I experience Them, he said all my scans and blood flow etc has been normal and to attend all scans and appointments🤰🏻

To be honest I felt like this at mine, I have ICP and gallstones so I went to see the consultant which she said she is referring me to gastro (didn’t say why) so could be a million reasons as it’s all to do with my liver and soemthing about previously having hep e before pregnancy, took 7 bottles of blood cos they want new ones to check, and told me what I already knew which is weekly bloods, additional scans, baby’s movements and induction time based on bile acids, I also feel every time I see the dr they aren’t reading my notes so I’m constantly telling them stuff and there’s just no communications between them all and I come out not knowing much more than what I went in, which makes me feel like I’m gunna mess up and say something that’s totally wrong but isn’t sort of my responsibility cos they should be checking the notes xx

Also I felt pointless and I felt my consultant was not so confident. I asked questions and the answers was like nothing...The midwifes much better.I will have a new consultant team due to GD, I hope they will better.

That’s really worrying that you keep basing reduced movements and they can’t tell you why it’s happening

@Katie I’ve had 9 episodes of reduced movements so far. They have no explanation or reason as to why it’s happening as all my scans are fine and blood flow etc is fine xx
