I wash all toys, or if they can't be washed I will wipe/spray. They will likely go in their mouth and may have chemical residue from the factory, dirt, dust etc.

most of the toys instructions I've read, just said to use a cloth to wipe it clean With a crinkle hedgehog toy, I did have to ask a question when the one toy part of a gifted tummy time set dropped into a dirty puddle one time, and someone replied to my question on Amazon that washing it fine and then letting it air dry was okay. But unfortunately my hun didnt let me go through the wash before getting it all into the dryer, so the crinkle hedgehog toy still came out fine from the dryer, so maybe ask a question on the Amazon thing... i haven't washed something similar to that toy, though, so thats why say to ask a question to thing of others that bought it already

You could maybe wipe it down. But unless it’s like an easy plastic or silicone thing I don’t wash it
