Balls and a muffin tray, dry pasta and different sized containers, ribbons/scarves in a container, shallow tray of water and toy animal figures. My little girl likes everything that isn’t a toy at the minute so these keep her occupied for ages! We also do treasure baskets of things like wooden brushes, wooden spoons, metal utensils or sometimes a colour theme where I’ll find baby safe things around the house that are red for example.
In the children's centre he goes off and leaves me alone, he's capable of independent play. But at home, with a ll these toys, he cries at my feet when I do dishes or brush my teeth, anything where I'm not looking at him
what toys does he have? we have wooden open ended toys and do a toy rotation so she always feels like she’s got new toys x
Ah I'm in the same boat! I'm running out of things to entertain him with but he likes to open up all my cupboards and play with the pots and pans at the moment..
