@Milan they require proof of income and bank statements for the past 6 months (at least in Michigan when we did it). They will look into everything including everyone registered at that address and what assets you have.
@Samantha they’re not supposed to especially if you tell them that you dont have income. With my food stamps, I used my mom’s address and told them I pay for food and such separate from my mom. I get $560 in food stamps for just me and my daughter and $480 in cash assistance. Plus I had my OB write a letter stating that I’m high risk and I can’t stand for long periods of time, I need access to water at all time, and I can’t lift anything over 10lbs😂 my case worker said “yeah we’re just gonna say she doesn’t want you to work at all”
there’s the va marketplace has insurance options!
Apply for food stamps and Medicaid at the same time. Do not tell them that you have income . Tell them that you are pregnant and not working.
