@Ebony I will go order some teething toys now I have some already it’s a key chain one and I think my boy is a bit young for them x
My baby will only take bibs dummy’s, but definitely try teething toys and see if that helps at all. My son was breastfed first of all so we waited 4 weeks to try him with a dummy and it still took about 2 weeks after that for him to take it
We introduce a teething toy when my little girl started doing this. It's a mix of working out what hands are, comfort and learning the world. We used mam dummies from birth to 6 months as she was a comfort sucker and comfort feeder, being breastfed it's safe to say I bearly lasted the first week with the comfort feeding without the dummy. I would try a teething toy before trying another dummy. I got a shein version of a matchstick monkey, it was about £2 when I grabbed it
