do you get paranoid about your children having diabetes?

my son was drinking so much water the other day and I was convincing myself that maybe his blood sugar was high where he had ketones or something (he’s not diabetic but I am) and I tested his blood sugar he was 119 🤣🫠 anyone else test their children’s blood sugar when they show even the slightest signs of diabetes??
