I think it depends a bit on your baby but both of our kids were happy doing both. Look up paced feeding, this might help if you are worried about her getting a preference for bottles. You also get babies who only want breast so it can go either way.
I EBF during the day and pump and bottle feed during the night. I personally pump while my husband feeds my lil boy, as I want him to get as much breast milk as possible, but that's preference. We top it up with formula as he's greedy. If you do solely formula overnight, your supply might be affected as the demand drops. My LO takes mam bottles really well and fortunately hasn't developed a preference. Just make sure you try to match the teat flow of the bottle to your flow when BF. If you find you have a fast let down, you might want a faster teat so she doesn't get frustrated at the bottle, but not too fast that she chugs it down and then prefers the bottle as she doesn't have to work for it, if that makes sense? It's a bit of trial and error, a bottle feed shouldn't take less than 20 mins. Also look into paced bottle feeding, as it mimics breastfeeding. You might have to try a few bottles and milk temps to find what works for your girl. I was quite fortunate that my greedy one takes it however it comes 😂
Following as I am also thinking of combi feeding x
I woke up to pump and my husband gave our son a bottle. We breastfed during the day. We combi fed with just breast milk till he switched to cows milk at 1. We started at around 12 weeks old. Did not use formula though.
My little one is combi fed as my milk supply is very little but he has no preference really morning and night (like the first wake up feed and last night feed), he is only happy with boob but any other time he'll take either
