Expressed milk & being out
Hello! I’m considering expressing and introducing a bottle over the next couple of weeks. Anyone who has experience with this, if you’re going out and about do you fill a sterilised bottle beforehand with milk or would you take the bottle and pouch of expressed milk out separately? Also how do we know how much milk to take out with us without it potentially going to waste (if it’s out the fridge for more than 6 hours for example). Thank you in advance!

@Demi is the unused milk from the drunk bottle or from another milk bag? Thanks
If he has drunk from the bottle, I throw it away after an hour. I only put unused milk back into the fridge. It's in a sterilised bottle. I was taking milk bags out but found them more hassle than bottles

I put the amount my baby drinks into a sterilised bottle then put the bottle in a cooler bag and warm it up when he's ready. The milk i don't use, I pop in the fridge ready for his next feed
