Could you braid her hair? Or a sun visor hat

What do you do to it now?
@Kendra Budd I just leave it natural after it’s been detangled and conditioned. She really doesn’t sit still for long so that’s all I get to do 😮💨
Aww her hairs gorgeous they could just do a half style of cornrows on the top
Visor is the answer 😋
Just because it’s not in braids or a style doesn’t mean its not “managed” I think that’s a very damaging mindset for black and mixed hair that it’s “unkept” in its natural form it looks healthy and if her mums regularly detangling and conditioning it that’s fine
@Kendra Budd why are you being rude 🤔 my daughters hair is in lovely condition, just because it’s big and curly doesn’t mean it isn’t managed… her hair doesn’t need to be braided. I like her wearing it natural. It’s soft and moisturised and her curls are lovely. It’s not out of control at all… like i expect this kind of comment from a white person who knows nothing about Afro hair. Shocking really. Thankyou to everyone else for the lovely helpful comments!
@Cerys Thankyou! I try! I’ve looked alot into how to take care of her hair, with help from this group. Unfortunately I always seem to get these rude comments being a white woman with a biracial child 🤷🏼♀️ sigh… x
@Kendra Budd now you’re name calling 🤔 you are rude. This post wasn’t about white women not being able to manage hair, it was about finding a suitable hat for my child. You made a dig about your “white friend” nearly ruining her kids hair because all she did was put detangler in it 🤔 why is any of that relevant to a hat to protect my daughter from the sun
Have a nice day mama
Maybe a hat with an under the chin strap? Or a sun bonnet? I think the French style ones are really cute 🥰xx
