Poopy baby clothes

This might be a silly question but what’s the best way to deal with clothes etc that are covered in baby poop? I’m presuming you don’t just put it straight in the washing machine with all the poop on.. what works best?

We find washing in cold water, washing up liquid on the stain give it a good rub and then soak in napisan and then wash at 30 as normal with detergent. This has gotten out 99% of poop stains and the ones it hasn't, it massively faded the stain to virtually not visible!

We have a ‘poo bucket’ 🥲 we rinse the poo off with cold water, cover the stain in fairy liquid and scrub it then soak in the bucket of cold water for a while. Then wash on a 30 wash. If possible, we also try and get them in the sun to dry but that’s only become possible recently 🤣

I usually scrub the stain with washing up liquid and then use a stain remover similar to vanish in the wash. The key is usually leaving in the sun to dry as someone once told me the sun gets rid of stains and it does work more often than not! X

Thank you all! ☺️
