Feeling a Little Emotional About My Son’s 5th Birthday 🎁

Dakota’s 5th birthday is coming up on April 7, and we’re celebrating on April 6. Every year, I struggle with planning because making friends has always been hard—for both of us. Dakota is nonverbal, and as a stay-at-home mom, I don’t get out much to meet other parents. He doesn’t really have little friends to invite, so it’s always just our family and his siblings celebrating. 🥳 ❣️ I just want his 5th birthday to feel extra special. If anyone would like to come celebrate with us, I’d love to have some friendly faces there for him. It would mean so much to me to see him surrounded by people who care. 🫶🏼 We’re located in Royal Oak, Michigan—let me know if you’d like to come! 🎉🕺🏽🙏🏼

I feel this 😭 we don’t go out much so we don’t have friends, I do t talk to other parents at school bc everytime I go for an event T school everyone just stares at me for “looking so young” 😭😭 so we just celebrate as a family, we take her to eat wherever she wants and do whatever she wants to do for the day bc it’s hard when you realize your so called friends don’t come celebrate your child 😔

My kids wouldn't be able to come, but definitely love to come support yall!
