@Emily she was breastfed for the first 4 weeks which she was like that then but she’s been on dairy free formula since as the gp prescribed her it but she’s pretty much stayed the same with pooing throughout i’m due to go doctors with her for a follow up on monday so im going to mention it then but it’s one of those where we can’t just ask them what’s wrong can we so it’s so hard at the min xx
Can you ask the health visitor for some advice
@Paige it is hard definitely your gp should assess her by feeling her stomach and if they can’t tell what’s wrong they may refer her to someone more specialised but again it may be a bug since it’s so watery i doubt it’s constipation x
@Emily yeah i hope so, thank you!
She could be lactose intolerant, reflux or not suiting the milk! Get them to do an allergy test if so get goat milk. Try and also get lactose for her conspetion if she is
are you breastfeeding? is there any way she could have a bug? it’s normal for them to not go as often when breastfeeding my daughter had stomach issues as a baby, is there any chance she could have cmpa? my baby once we started solids we found out she was allergic to milk (breastfeeding) and she’s now been prescribed a laxative as she’s struggling with really bad constipation. there’s lots of things to consider id probably say worth going to gp i hope she gets better soon!
