I’d send off Hubby to the grocery store (he does anyway) or do pickup. If I was hurting that badly.
@Kellie my husband normally does it, but it's honestly one of the only chances I really have to get out of the house so I enjoy going.
Make sure you’re stretching 30mins a day, might help w the overall pain. Like as if you were learning the splits. Right arm all the way over, left arm all the way over, then legs straight and bending forward etc. good luck OP. Use the cart if you have to, no one’s gonna question why you need it, plenty of people have disabilities that we can’t see at a glance (arthritis etc)
@Kellie the reason I'm in so much pain is because I have big babies, I'm currently pregnant with twins, and I have a retroverted uterus apparently. So they're tilted back toward my spine which means more back pain, but also means they're kinda hiding so I don't look like I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant with twins. I stretch every time I change my son's diaper, it somewhat makes it better but I'm still in a lot of pain, mainly when I do a lot of walking.
If you need it do it! I considered it with my second but pushing the cart usually helped a lot too. Times that my mom drove me places she would park in handicap with her tag for me. I always felt so bad but my hip would give out if I walked too far some days
Girl do what you need to do to be comfortable! I was waddling around with twins, 210 pounds I was hella big. I would walk down an aisle or two and sit. Then go down another and sit. Do what works!
@Tessa we only go once a week and get a lot of water and juice, so it's usually too heavy for me to push by the end, I did try that 😂
@Stacey 🇵🇸 they have NOWHERE to sit in our stores, like one bench in the front is all. I keep telling my husband they need to put benches throughout stores for pregnant ladies 😂😂 I weigh way more than that already and I'm not even 30 weeks yet, I started out overweight 😬 😭 I also have big babies, my son was 10lbs at birth, one twin is measuring right on track with his measurements and the other isn't far behind 🤦🏻♀️
Yeah that sucks! Use the mobile shopping cart definitely.
Wow, that sounds rough. Absolutely use the resources available to you. The only relief I got towards the end of my pregnancy was getting in the pool and just floating. It seemed to help me feel better throughout the day as well since I got ‘a break’ from the weight. Highly recommended if it’s possible for you.
Listen I used them for a good 2-3 months during the beginning of my pregnancy because of my hyperemesis I almost fainted twice in target from being weak and dehydrated but I had to get up and move around
@Celinee I passed out in my driveway when I was 14 weeks, that's another reason I've been thinking about it. They said it was from exertion, but all I did was pick up my son's toys and then walk outside so I don't get it. Thankfully my husband was able to catch me and everything was okay, but it was scary and apparently it's not uncommon to pass out when you're pregnant with twins so I'm scared it's going to happen again.
You have the right to use it. If it was me though I’d wear my tightest possible shirt so everyone could tell I was pregnant hahaa
