My daughter was one a day but she hasn’t been for 6 days now 🤯
SO normal! Have had 2 exclusively breastfed babies and both would have loads of dirty nappies each day, pretty much after every feed or every other feed depending on the day. Breastmilk is a natural laxative (not in a bad way) so it is very common. The thing with poop though is the range of normal is huge - to only one a day or every few days, to pooping after every feed. As long as they are otherwise well and colour/smell:consistency normal then it is nothing to worry about. Would much rather this than constipation. As baby gets older it should settle down a little. Initially as the body clock forms they should poo less at night. Then think when my girl was 3+ months it had changed to 2-3 poos a day rather than every feed and some days maybe only 1 poo. And they were bigger. My boy is 5 weeks and just starting to have some nights with no poo or only 1 poo but the day is still lots. Think today he’s had at least 5 dirty nappies and lots of wet too.
I would say they are all different my daughter used to poo after almost every feed so around 10 a day! It was a lot of changing, it did settle as she got older though. My 7 week old son is only doing 1 sometimes 2 a day so completely different and both EBF
All babies are different, my little boy is 7 weeks old and hasn’t pooped regularly since he was born and he is exclusively breast fed. I’d say he goes once or twice every 3/4 days. But he has plenty of wet nappies so he is changed atleast every three hours. As long as they’re the usual colour and consistency and you haven’t got any other worries such as pains or intolerances I’d just keep an eye on it, but if you’re really worried contact your GP x
