Hello my partners car has recently broke and can't afford to get it fixed or replace

We are moving house next week and now the car has broke, he also needs the car to get to work, and we can't get a loan due to bad credit we are absolutely screwed and I've been having so many melt down and just Can't handle it anymore, moving to a house that has no carpets so have to pay loads for that.
