Stickers, colouring, paint, but stickers are the favourite! And I try to get out of the house every day, throw peas at ducks, that sort of thing. Even just going to the shop is fun for her, she loves using the beeper for smart shop, getting a magazine, smelling candles, pretending to feed the Andrex puppy, choosing what fruit she wants, so much fun to be had 😂 she also has a little Henry hoover so we hoover together, and she likes playing hide and seek now even though she's rubbish at hiding 😊
Does she like singing and dancing? You can sing songs and dance together? Maybe drawing, finger painting? Maybe a tea party with water. My LO would love that! A bath together just for fun Magnetic tiles or blocks Rolling a smallish ball down the hall back and forth Making and eating a fruit salad together.. she can help cut the grapes in half with a butter knife or cut the cheese or cut the bread slices She can help you sweep and put clothes in the washing machine and separate lights and darks She can hide under the bedsheets and you throw the bedsheets up in the air as part of introducing hide and seek You can try hide and seek but it’s going to take time Hope these help! ❤️
My nieces and nephews loved music, i had the baby club music on a loop when babysitting! Most songs have actions and it's a fun way to interact with each other!x
Stickers, draw pictures, read books, going to the park, the library, getting the mail
I go out with him a lot - we go to rhyme time, baby sensory, swimming, I’ve done baby yoga and baby massage too! He has SO many toys I just sit with him and play, I do water play, messy play, go to a park, walks, go to aquariums, zoos, farm, read, dance, sing, just go out anywhere 🤣
Getting out and about - play groups, sensory rooms, local library. At home - playdough (homemade), sand pit, stickers, jigsaws, role play, building, drawing/colouring, build train track, activity books, bubbles, singing, dancing, reading, cooking, baking.
I’m never home as a sahm I take them out. He has baby bounce on 3 days a week which turns into storytime after 18m. Still has music and instruments though. Then we drop by the mall for brunch, or I meet a sahm or my bestie or a new peanut Mum, that’s inviting me out or we’ve planned to meet somewhere for the day. Being out also helps me gets my 10k steps in for the day. I’d go crazy if I was actually a sahm that stayed home all day, I need to be out on weekends too.
Tuff trays are amazing. There's plenty of groups on Facebook with ideas you can do for little ones to explore, etc
My son loves flash cards right now and the play fruit you cut in half with the play knives. Also his slide and putting stuffies & other toys down the slide. We chase eachother and play tag a lot.
Jigsaws, playdoh, baking, colouring, arts and crafts, going to the park, singing dancing, playing with toys dolls, library. I also try and put my phone out of reach or in another room
We do stickers and colouring. We have some playdough, she loves to read books and I pretend to eat wooden food that she prepped me in her kitchen 😂
My son mostly liked to play with trucks, I just followed his lead and let him figure out how to play with his imagination
