When can I bath baby?

I gave both my babies their first bath at 2 days old. Keeping the umbilical cord dry and in a bath support. Just a little wash and freshen up.

wait until the cord falls off to submerge in water but you can do a sponge bath with little washcloths until then or you could just wait to bathe at all until it falls off

I was told to wait at least a week, both my babies cords fell off within about 5/6 days so we bathed them on day 7 or 8 x

You can top and tail them. I'd personally wait till their cord falls off, you really dont want that getting infected. It gives their skin biome time to develop a bit more too. I didn't bathe mine till they were a month old. I loved that milk smell which goes once they've been bathed. I just used cotton wool and warm water for hands, feet, face, armpits and privates until then. Their abnomon I left alone
