Potty training help

My LG who turned 3 last week started potty training yesterday, we had tried before at 2 year's and 5 months but due to a family illness had to stop. She's going to be so hard to train, she's very smart, picture memory but says no I sit on the potty later when you ask her to and causes a tantrum when you make her sit down. shes only had accidents and doesn't seem to know when she has to pee or poo however. I plan on a good 6 day stretch. Anyone any advice or have gone through rough potty training how did you make it work? Thanks for any advice.

We are currently going through this, my LB turned 3 Friday, we had tried previously but he wasn’t ready. I have just made it exciting for him, designing his own potty chart and putting stickers on when he has been, which he is loving if he gets 10 stickers then he gets a reward… currently day 3 so far… good luck 🤞 xx

We started potty training end of January, I genuinely didn’t think she was ready the first two days but we just persevered and it just clicked. First 2 days she held all day until she had an accident, then the 3rd day she finally used the potty, as well as a few accidents but as they days went on the accidents were becoming less and less and she’s been fully dry through the day and most nights for around a month. We used chocolate buttons as a reward, 2 for a wee 3 for a poo. Some people say it’s not the best way to go about it but it worked for us as I knew it’d encourage her more than a sticker chart and we only needed to give her rewards for around a week or so. If we needed to leave the house for the first week or so I’d put pants underneath her pull up as I found she had accidents out less this way and didn’t want to confuse her by switching between just a pull up and pants. She turned 3 just under 2 weeks ago for reference xx

We're 1 week into our second attempt at potty training. We did it last year and she just wasn't ready. This time we noticed more tantrums and problems when we asked or encouraged it, when we just left her to it with the odd reminder she did it so much better!! Asking her to do it even still caused riots!
