Unbuckling car seat… please help!

Yesterday my 3yo discovered how to unbuckle himself in the car seat. Now he can do it easily in just a few seconds, both buckle and chest clip. Is there a product out there that prevents this? Has anyone else experienced this? What has worked? Please help!

Duct tape or PVC tape should do the job🙃. lol. I have no idea. Following🌝📝

Apparently putting the rough side of Velcro on it can help as they don’t like the feel of it. My eldest did this and I just had to tell him how serious and dangerous it is and that he was absolutely not allowed to do it by himself unless i had said it was ok. Now when we stop he’ll ask me if he can undo his straps yet.

What about a Houdini strap? My 2 yo did this 😬 because he wanted to see our the window so we had to turn him FF 😭 We tried everything, a Velcro dot on the buckle (we don't have chest clips on car seats in my country), double sided tape on the buckle, being firm, stopping the car (that turned into a game), soft toys, snacks etc and nothing worked. He just wanted to be able to see 🥴
