Still taking formula..

Anything wrong if my son is still drinking formula at 15months? He just dislikes cows milk but he wants milk in the morning and before bed ): My husband doesn’t care so I’m like idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

There’s toddler formula you can give him. I give my son the goat milk by holle for toddlers.

I give my 13 month old toddler formula

My son’s also 15 months and I give him Kendamil Goat Toddler Formula. I drink almond milk in the house but with him drinking 2 maybe 3 bottles a day, I prefer the toddler formula because of the added nutrients.

My 15month still takes formula. He is dairy free but doesn’t like the alternatives either.

There’s nothing wrong with your son! Just a preference!

I’ve no clue about it BUT wanted to say if he eats yoghurt/cheese and has milk mixed into things, then he should be getting the benefits of cows milk as far as I’m aware! They sell ‘follow on’ milk which is basically the same as formula, so I can’t imagine it’s damaging????

@Beth hey my midwife told me with my first son not to bother with follow-on milk she said there’s no difference so it’s fine to stick to the one you’re when you reach that point of moving on to follow on milk ☺️

I switched my son to cows milk as soon as I could cause I was tired of making formula bottles loool but maybe your son might like a different milk like goats/soya/oat milk instead as an alternative but also if your little one is eating things like yogurts or cheese etc they’re still getting a dairy intake

I started adding cows milk to formula and increasing over time until it was just cows milk

Try real organic whole milk. It’s a whole entirely different taste. He may even find it sweet and want it. Formula at 15 months would drive me nuts it’s not cheap. I’ve also done half and half and then 3/4 milk to formula before the full switch.

@Grace ah yes, I didn’t mean to sound like I was suggesting it! I just meant surely if they sell that, it can’t hurt to still be using formula. Follow on milk is a load of rubbish and only made because they can legally advertise it!! Haha but we EBF anyway 🤪☺️

@Beth oh my bad yeah that’s literally what my midwife said and my health visitor was that it’s a load of rubbish n that it’s exactly same nothing different 😂
