CMPA
How/when was your LO diagnosed with CMPA?
Context- my LO is almost 10 weeks and we have been dealing with reflux and horrible gas issues. He is a fussy & uncomfortable baby most of the day except just after gas or poop movement. So far Ive been told it’s just reflux & colic and he will grow out of most of it by 12 weeks. Yesterday, a rash started to pop up on his face. If it lingers Ill call the pediatrician but just curious on other’s experiences. I know CMPA isn’t common and I do have PPA so I may just be over thinking things. So I'm raising my granddaughter and she has CMPA and she was on Nutramigen and we still had issues. So I switched her to Bubs goat milk formula and it's been a games changer
@Heather do you mind me asking what issues you stil had please and how of did you wait to see how it went? X
My daughter has CMPA and I’m going dairy free for her but it’s been a rough road. The dairy free formula is so expensive though
@Kas she was just still gassy and fussy we waited about a month and a half before we switched

Mine was around 6 weeks when the GP put Him onto aptimil pepti 1 and we noticed such a difference! He’s 8 weeks now and I’ve only just realised the bottles I was using had a negative effect and since changing them too he’s so different. He still has reflux and still gets uncomfortable sometimes but I’ve seen a massive difference! I also had CMPA as a baby and had to be on soya milk so the GP just put him straight into a different milk
