Honestly, please don't judge me. But why is it that I can be cleaning and my son will play by himself, but as soon as I sit down, he forgets he can play by himself?

I have the opposite problem. If I sit down he entertains himself all day long. The second I try to cook, clean up or go to the bathroom, it’s like Call of Duty 😭
He doesn’t forget, he sees a window of opportunity. Honestly he’s quite polite in my opinion lol but I have a toddler who only wants me when I’m actively trying to get things done
I wish I had that problem lol. My kids constantly nag me when I’m trying to get anything done, but when I try to sit down, they ignore me lol.
