We haven't had much issues with our LG but I always count down so she's prepared if that makes sense. 1 2 3 wee is usually my saying and only a few times she's got funny
@Becky-Diane we end up using a jug too and trying to be as quick as we can. My little boy does this too - constantly trying to stand up. I thought he'd be use to it by now
Try this. Bought it on shein for less than 2 pounds. My son loves bath time but used to hate rinsing the shampoo. Now it doesnt bother him at all
I’d make sure you give them a warning - at swimming lessons when we were initially learning water on the face we’d say ‘X are you ready, go’ and then splash their face and they learn to shut their eyes on go so maybe try and same thing before rinsing! I tend to sponge the shampoo off the front of my son’s hair near his eyes then rinse the back with a jug (although he doesn’t have much hair to work with 😂) x
I lay my LB down in the bath to rinse his shampoo/conditioner off. Then I'll just use my hand to get the front bit, although my LB has now started to tilt his head back so the front bit sits under the water. My LB hated me using a jug, so this works well for us now x
My Little boy is the exact same, we just use a jug and he eventually gets over it. He tends to try and rush to stand up when the water goes on his head
