Diarrhoea after Breastfeeding

My baby has been having diarrhoea close to 3 weeks now, she was exclusively breastfed and now she is 6 months and I am trying to introduce solid food. We have been to the A & E, but was told its normal and will subside in due time(we weren't told when that would be), also informed the health visitor, said same thing. She has the diarrhoea after sucking breastmilk, and she is also teething, don't know if that is also the cause for the diarrhoea. I am just worried 😟. When will the diarrhoea stop? Has anyone been in this situation before? Thank you.

What does the poo look like? Have you got a picture?

Same issue. Diarrhoea but no other symptoms for 3 weeks too. We’ve got a 6mth check up today, so I’m gonna ask about it. Baby is combo fed.

@Charley no I have not got a picture x. But at first it was catarrh like, then later greenish( health visitor saw this) now it's yellowish x

@Gabriella doctor suspects that it was gastro because he started off with multiple poops a day and now just down to one a day. We’re gonna send off a stool sample to rule out any infections. No one in the family had gastro, so no idea where he could have gotten it from, if it is gastro that is.

@Gabriella green and yellow are normal colours. Also their poo is supposed to be runny and liquid so I'm just wondering if it's true diarrhea or not.
