In addition to 3 bottle feeds, my LO receives breakfast, lunch and snack all at daycare. His bottles are 7oz. At home we feed one bottle when he wakes up and one bottle before bed. Currently, we aren’t doing dinner. He is consuming more than enough throughout the day.
My son does 8 oz bottle at 7:30am, breakfast at 9:30am (e.g. oatmeal with some prunes or bananas), 8 oz bottle at 12pm, lunch at 2:30pm (mashed overcooked vegetables, mac and cheese, eggs, etc), another 8 oz bottle at 5pm, and then a snack (e.g. puffed cereal or peanut butter crackers) before bed if he still seems hungry. Bedtime is 7pm. So basically 24 oz formula with 2 meals and sometimes a snack
My son is EBF and nurses most of the night (co-sleeping and we fall asleep latched), 4-5 times during the day (basically on demand) has 3 meals and a two small snacks. He’s is 99th percentile though and I don’t force anything on him he just happily eats and stops when he’s full. If your daughter is content I wouldn’t change a thing. My first didn’t start eating three meals until she was 14 months and didn’t start having snacks until 16. They were offered but never taken. If you’ve noticed she’s not sleeping well at night and is more fussy then I would offer her a snack and grow that into a third meal.
Don't worry to much about food 2 meals is great! Food before 1 is just for fun.
I think it just depends on your baby. My baby is same age and hardly wants bottles anymore. We feed her 3 meals a day and maybe a snack here and there but not consistently. We try to get 4 6 oz bottles in her, but she often doesn’t drink them all. We also offer water in a sippy cup during meals. She really likes food over milk, I can’t wait to wean off bottles completely!
My girl does 3 meals. But breakfast is literally just 2table spoons of whole Greek yogurt with a few berries or 1 good sized strawberry. She is breastmilk baby and has 4, 4oz bottles during the day and nurses 1-2times at night so idk how many oz those are. But with food I always do bottle first and then food that way milk is still her main meal and the food is just how much ever she wants to eat.
Ny baby drinks around 22 to 26 oz day with 3 solids. I give him the third solid to get the calories in and maintain his weight as he drinks less milk sometimes. Morning are usually eggs or veggie mix and lunch is meat/rice/veggies at daycare. And for dinner after his night feed, I give him eggs or half an avacado / maybe some veggies mix etc.
Sometimes is 2 solids sometimes it's 3, a lot depends on his milk intake throughout that day
My pedi said I can be feeding my baby 3 meals and 2 snacks.
