Infacol or gripe water ?

My 6 week old doesn’t suffer with colic but sometimes struggles to pass gas ( bottom end ) has anyone used either of these for that and has it helped ?

Careful with gripe water. My girl choked on it - was so scary. Iv since read this can be quite common. We put infacol in the formula which takes the bubbles out and she always burps really well now. But she still had colic screaming between like 2-4 months. This would start even before she had/was due a bottle on an evening so wasn’t linked to that

Have been using Infacol for every feed since my LG was about 2 weeks old due to her having issues with trapped wind. It definitely helps her with passing gas (both ends). Shes breast fed, so does take the Infacol before (and tries spitting it out everytime) but it’s worked for us!

We found that gripe water helped much more than infacol. It worked within 5 min. But that's just my experience

We use dentinox which works similarly to infacol. My daughter hated the orange taste of infacol but was fine with dentinox which is kind of minty. We put it in her bottles and helped loads with her wind in the early days. Another option in case yours is fussy like mine was!

I’ve tried both and for me gripe water was better. I think it’s best to try both and see what works better for your little one
