What would you pay?
UK mamas! - I need a 2nd opinion! So my best friend is going to be watching my baby 1 day a week while I work. It will be from about 8am - around 2pm when my partner finishes work. He will be 10 months old when this starts. We have been best friends for over 15 years. She doesn’t have her own kids but she is like an auntie to my little boy. She is happy to watch him and says she doesn’t want anything for it but I will obviously give her something. I will be covering her travel which is roughly £10 a day but what would you give her on top of that?

I would pay about £20-£30 x
I’d pay her travel and provide any food or drink that she or your baby might want
For a close friend or family member I'd probably pay for any food/drink they want during the day and then offer £30-40 on top
I don't pay my parents but every 2 months I buy them a voucher about £100 in value for like a nice meal or a massage or stay away. Just to show my appreciation. They watch my daughter 4 days a week
Depends what you’re covering. Activities, food etc.
