New SAHM

I think I’m new to this as I’ve always been working. My job contract ended and it’s been a pain looking for another job. Now that I’m a SAHM, I’m hoping to make the most out of it and stay happy. What do you guys do at home. Ideas, activities and tips are welcomed. TIA

@Leyla can you give me more details on this please!?

Organization is a big part of my day. Also baking recipes.

Congratulations! Being a SAHM is so rewarding but can be challenging too. Make sure you take time and do things you enjoy. I think I'd go crazy without my hobbies. I love to garden and be outside.

Congratulations on becoming a SAHM. I was in a similar place last year. Feel free to message me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/shygirlwealth2.0_?igsh=MTVscHRlYjVnbGwxMA==

I find being a SAHM the hardest job I've ever had and the best one at the same time. On the hard days I'll remind myself of how quick the time goes before they'll be in school and also remind myself that it's not supposed to be an easy job- it's a super special and serious one to be a mother (imo). And on the days I feel like super mum I give myself a pat on the back for it. When moral is low I'll ask husband to give me feedback (obviously I'm looking for positive lol but as someone who thrived on 1-1 reviews in work before kids and is a words of affirmations gal it can be a real boost/motivator) Enjoy what you can and be kind to yourself in the tougher moments. All the best for your SAHM adventure! X

We go to two clubs per week (one at our church, and one outdoor one at a nearby allotment) the rest of the time is mostly outdoor playing at parks or walks as my boys are very active, they live gardening atm. They only really sit for story times throughout the day and prefer to be on the go recently but there been time where having a colouring book has been helpful, or cleaning the table with soapy water and sponges they used to enjoy the 'mess' of it. X
