Suddenly terrified of the bath

My lg was like this but with showers! It came on so suddenly where she just wouldn’t get in the shower😅 I started showering with her and singing songs the whole time which distracted her and helped a lot! If you haven’t tried that already then it might help, now she’s absolutely fine & loves it again☺️

Yep we've been through this this! I had to get in the bath with her for a few weeks until her confidence came back. Try a new toy too, good luck xx

Happened to my son, Really confused me because like your LO loved the bath! Thankfully only lasted a week or so, I just got in the bath with him and played, I do think it was just a phase though😊xxx

We are going through the same, a few days ago I accidentally made it too hot and now she's terrified of it 😔😔 she cries so bad. I went in with her today and it was better so I'll probably continue doing that and get some new toys, hope she gets over it soon. It's so heartbreaking because she loved it so much. And she hates having her hair washed so any advice on that welcome! It's not the shampoo, she just hates getting water on her head

This happened to us when we started sleep training. For my LB it lasted a month and bit. But you have to keep preserving. Unfortunately there’s no other way they need a bath. I would sing and just let them know they’re safe and you’re there.

How is everyone rinsing babies hair? He won’t lie back or put his head back for me to do it and if I get any water in his eyes it’s game over 🙃 I think lately this has started upsetting my boy at bath time

I use a cup and put my hand on her forehead to try and avoid it going in the eyes. The new toys, especially the foam letters acted as a good distraction tonight! Still not great but it’s a start - thanks for all the advice!
