Hospital called for another scan

I just had my Anatomy scan (when i was 20 weeks) at an Center and they said baby looks good and the next scan will be probably much later in 30 weeks or so. Now i got a call from my OB saying they booked an appointment in the center again. And i will be (almost 25 weeks) did you had around that time also another scan?? I thought the last scan was anatomy?! Did this happen to anyone? (When i called them back they said it is just a routine scan) but something in me feels a little uneasy.. someone had any others scans after anatomy? If so when? Plsssss help

I had one at 28 weeks because they couldn’t see one thing because of how the baby was positioned. Went back in, got to see baby’s face in 3D and they verified that the one thing they couldn’t see originally looked perfect.

I've had two additional scans and a third one booked. You can always call and ask why they're wanting additional scans

I’m over 40 so have a scan next week which is a 28 week one.

I also had two at that stage - one at 20 weeks and one at 22. But they told me straight away why I needed the second one - because they couldn't see some parts they needed to scan at the first one. So they should tell you. A case of bad communication, it looks like to me. Call them and clarify to put your mind at rest.

I called them and they have said they want to check the growth of the baby also because i‘m on the „thinner“ side.. meaning i do not weigh a lot…. Thats why they want to monitor it..

Unnecessary

I had to have it twice with both my kids because they couldn’t find certain parts of the baby. If the baby doesn’t wanna move or something, they often can’t get what they want and try again
