Feeding

Is he up to his birth weight ? Is the feeding every 2 hours on his demand or do you wake him to feed?

I had the exact same thing and have had mixed messages from doctors since from it being reflux, to a cows milk allergy to simply that I’m feeding him too much (apparently 4oz should be every 4 hours!) I did drop to 3oz every 2-3 hours and it stopped the whole bottle coming up, but he does still spit up a little. I think it’s trial and error, but also welcome to any advice from others who have been through this.

@Kimberley yes he is over his birth weight he is on demand at the moment I only wake him up to feed him at 10pm so he goes longer at night

@Laura maybe I will try him back on 3oz but sometimes he will have 4oz and be fine

Yeah, try 3oz every 2 hours and see how he reacts. Or, if he’s still hungry you could try and alternate the amount so it gives his stomach time to recover from the larger feed.
