MCDA Twins

Any MCDA twins mums out there that are already exhausted by the constant hospital appointmenta and scans! I have never been a fan of scans anyway, I don't like the sensation on the pushing of the monitor and the anxiety before hand is horrible! I have my 3rd scan at 4pm today and it's only 2 weeks since my last one! I know why we have to be scanned every two weeks but please tell me I am not the only one that the mental load of this is draining!! Also I already have a nearly 2 year old I don't know if the novelty of it has worn off quicker this time!!

I’m having DCDA twins so I think it’s a little less intense, they scan babies every 4 weeks but I’m having cervix length scans every 2 weeks then other appointments on top and physio for SPD so yeah it’s definitely draining. Also feeling awful having to take so much time off work and also trying to find childcare on my days off for my toddler so I can go! How are you feeling otherwise? I’m finding the twin pregnancy quote physically challenging

I am having MCDA twins in August! I’ve just sent you a message. With scans and appointments I am pretty much taking time off work every week. It’s a lot and my scan is a bus and train away. Takes a good hour!

@Megs I took am finding it challenging! I am a lot bigger and lots more pains this time! I also feel awful taking all the time off for appointments. I am a teacher so it's having a massive impact on the kids!
