Good to know it’s not just my bubba! we have his jabs on Tuesday so if it hasn’t happened by then I can raise it but hoping he’ll poop before then as it seems like he’s in pain when he strains 🥺
My son struggled loads when he was a newborn, they’re literally figuring out how to poop though. Bicycle legs, tummy rubs etc all help. If when they go though, the poop is runny, then they’re not constipated. It’s only if the poop is hard that they’re constipated. Hopefully he’ll grow out of it soon! My son did by maybe 3 months I think x
Thanks lovely 😘 so distressing isn’t it! poor things! x
@Emily it’s horrendous isn’t it just wishing you could help them more!! X
Breastfed babies have less waste to get rid of as they tend to only take what they need. I have always been told and gone by 10 days. If they haven't been by then, they might need some help. And the straining is just baby learning how their body works, it definitely looks like they might be struggling or in pain, but it's likely not the case. Hope bubs goes soon and puts your mind at rest. Xx
it's really normal for breastfed babies. both of mine have been like this - we were so worried with our first that we took her to see the dr and he told us not to worry 10 days and even up to 2 weeks because there's so little waste produced with breast milk xx
Thanks so much ladies! this has really reassured me 🙏🏻❤️
Mine poops once a week. Twice if I'm lucky. She's gone 8-9 days and by the 9th day I used the Frida windii which worked immediately.
My first pooped three times a day and my second pooped three times a month. Both completely normal. The frida mom gas passers did wonders for us but we’re so gross
Hi all! my little man did a big ole poop this evening 🤣 it’s so typical isn’t it!
@Emily always the way 😂 next time put him in a nice new outfit, I’m sure he’ll go immediately haha! X
@Skye 🤣🤣🤣 100% xx
Yes, literally the 5th day we took her to the doctor and she pooed on them 🙄 🙈
