What are the odds he's full of it?
It was mothers day last Sunday in the UK, my partner said my gift was delayed as its being built in Australia (only told me this when I 'jokingly' asked where my gift was last night) he says he bought it 3 weeks ago, surely it would of at least been dispatched 3 weeks on?
I'm either thinking he's just saying it and hopes I forget, he's only just ordered it or he's actually being honest.
However I'm still waiting for my mothers day gift from LAST YEAR. Which was literally just a day out to the safari park lol. And he went and got me a card and flowers at 10pm the night before mothers day (he knew when it was)
What do you guys think?

@Viv yeah he's never like that! I think the most thoughtful gift ive ever got was a necklace with our firstborns birthstone in. No I don't normally but I've had a really shit month and I literally just wanted him to take the kids out for a few hours so I can just relax and forget about the shambolic month😂
I think the worst part of this is that you're still waiting for last year's gift! There's a bit of a pattern taking shape here. A card, some chocolate and flowers wouldn't go amiss here and aren't hard to access! Some men have no clue do they? I didn't even expect a gift this year because I'm still pregnant, but a happy mothers day comment would have been nice, didn't get that either 😂

A custom gift from Australia for Mother’s Day seems extreme unless he usually gives you fancy gifts like that? We went to the safari for Mother’s Day too and I loved it haha He’s definitely forgot. I personally don’t fuss with mother day gifts… birthday and Xmas gifts on the other hand🤑 lol
