Feeling lonely and bored?

Is anyone else just at a point now of being so bored and alone? I have no family and only one friend. I see her rarely but she doesn’t have children so usually I take my boy and then we’re a bit limited. My partner is literally all I’ve got. Which is fine, until he’s at work. Or when he comes home from work and is tired and then doesn’t want to do anything (obviously understandable!) I don’t drive so I can’t even just get in my car and go anywhere I want with baby. I just need people around me who may drive and wouldn’t mind me and my boy tagging along if going to play groups or something? I was fine with messaging but now it’s just not working and I’m just bored I want to get out and actually do things. I’ve gone from working everyday and seeing new people constantly to nothing. It’s isolating as hell!! I’m in Rotherham but if anyone is surrounding and drives or is willing to meet at a play group please please let me know! I’m honestly desperate now😵‍💫😂

Hiya, are there any baby groups local to you that you can get to? I'm lucky, there are quite a few near me and I've met lots of people at them. I know some areas don't have as many as others x

@Charlotte Not really walking distance no, I will travel if I knew it was a good place although I do have terrible anxiety on buses (from childhood) and it’s even worse now I’ve got Noah to take. I’ve been to a group before where my partner dropped me off but he had to come back because I was so isolated. Every room me and my baby went in everyone else would leave and they all had their own people who they knew and were mingling with and I just didn’t fit🥹x

Ah dear yes I can imagine. I hate public transport, I can't imagine having to do it with a baby. Oh that's a shame you felt like that at groups, I'm the weirdo at groups who always spots the newbies and tries to talk to them 😂 If you want to drop me a message, feel free. I also had a little boy in September via emergency cesarean. I'm in Doncaster. I do have a 5 yr old too and get quite busy/forgetful so if I delay replying, it's not intentional 😅

@Charlotte It just screams illness as well doesn’t it!! Eugh. I know, it may have just been that particular group but it did really put me off! I would love to have someone like you who’d come up and talk to me so don’t think it’s weird! keep doing it😂 Don’t worry about replies I’m the worst at it I’m hardly ever on my phone unless baby is asleep 🙃
