@Charlotte Not really walking distance no, I will travel if I knew it was a good place although I do have terrible anxiety on buses (from childhood) and it’s even worse now I’ve got Noah to take. I’ve been to a group before where my partner dropped me off but he had to come back because I was so isolated. Every room me and my baby went in everyone else would leave and they all had their own people who they knew and were mingling with and I just didn’t fit🥹x
Ah dear yes I can imagine. I hate public transport, I can't imagine having to do it with a baby. Oh that's a shame you felt like that at groups, I'm the weirdo at groups who always spots the newbies and tries to talk to them 😂 If you want to drop me a message, feel free. I also had a little boy in September via emergency cesarean. I'm in Doncaster. I do have a 5 yr old too and get quite busy/forgetful so if I delay replying, it's not intentional 😅
@Charlotte It just screams illness as well doesn’t it!! Eugh. I know, it may have just been that particular group but it did really put me off! I would love to have someone like you who’d come up and talk to me so don’t think it’s weird! keep doing it😂 Don’t worry about replies I’m the worst at it I’m hardly ever on my phone unless baby is asleep 🙃
Hiya, are there any baby groups local to you that you can get to? I'm lucky, there are quite a few near me and I've met lots of people at them. I know some areas don't have as many as others x
