I had this. So I thought i was further along. Had an early scan with my mum, nan and husband. They said they could only see the sack and yolk. No heary beat and told me that they are 85% sure i am having a missed miscarriage and still having morning sickness. They booked me in for an nhs scan in 2 weeks. Still had morning sickness and sore boobs. Had my scan 2 weeks later and he was fine and grew I just worked out the dates wrong. It was one of the worst 2 weeks of my life. The only things that gave me hope was I still had pregnancy symptoms and I could have worked out the dates wrong
Do you know when you ovulated? I think the measurement is usually ovulation + 2 weeks if that's any different to your lmp? 3 days difference isn't much so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 x

I really do not want to scare you but I had something similar when I had a miscarriage last year.

I've had this before and it was absolutely fine, I think working out the dates based on LMP is so tough because it means this can happen so often, it's so so difficult to know when ovulation can be later than we think sometimes, I'm avoiding scanning early this time because I really don't want the worry, hopefully you'll get good news in a couple of weeks and you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy, just remember that right now you're pregnant and enjoy this moment 💗💗

I had a scan at 5w+5 and they only saw a ys and said I looked more like 5 weeks. I came back 2 weeks later and I was 7w+5 so caught back up and all was fine. My morning sickness started at 7 weeks which reassured me before the scan xx
Had this in my first pregnancy, I had an early scan calculated around 7 weeks but could only see the sac and yolk I was calculated around 5.5/6 weeks but everything was perfectly fine at 12 weeks
Just an update I had an early scan today with the NHS and babies heart was beating and measuring 6 weeks ❤️ thanks for all the reassurance

So happy for you, that must have been a scary time. Thank God baby is well and healthy.
Not an early scan but at my 12 week scan my gestation was adjusted by a week and a half - went in as 13+3 and came out as 12 +1. Measuring based on baby’s size gives a more accurate due date than measuring based on date of last period. Try not to worry about it until they tell you there’s something to worry about.
