Prem baby & vaccines
I've been told nothing by my GP or nurses, but has anyone else had a prem baby and were the jabs given as standard? I'm slightly worried as my LO bas only just reached 7lbs

Me too my little boy has only just reached 8lbs and was 3 weeks early and he’ll have his next week as normal when he hits 8 weeks xx
My LO was just over 3 weeks early and still had them as normal. She was only weighing 7.4lbs at the time. Just check how many mls they want you to give of paracetamol as the set 2.5ml advised is for baby’s under 8lb x
Mine had her jabs when she was only 4lb 1oz so I don’t think that matters x
@Rebecca where you able to give calpol after them ? I asked my GP yesterday and he didn’t recommend?
@Beth I was but in small amounts, I’m sure it was 2.5ml if not talk to your health visitor if you have got one xx

I’ve been told it’s still given as standard and not delayed with them being prem. mine has a jab next week and it was only her due date today.
