Child benefit
Wonder if anyone can help? I just recieved £102.85 child benefit for first time - how many weeks is this for? My baby will be 4 weeks on Friday. I applied 28th March, I know rates changed for April. TIA

I only have received it once too so far but I think it is paid every four weeks

Hey, I received a letter explaining what I'd get and when. I believe they pay from the first full week too, so my baby was born on a Wednesday meaning my first week wasn't counted until the following Monday. And then you get paid every 4 weeks Vs once a month like wages (so the date will be different each month) The £102 you got paid matches the same as mine which is for 4 weeks. Hope that helps x
