Test still reading positive although bleeding

I am currently going through what I believe to be my second chemical pregnancy. I started bleeding yesterday and did a test this morning and it's still showing pregnant? How long did it take after bleeding, for your test to read negative? It's completely heartbreaking and I just want it over with.
